The most recent episode of 'The Bachelor' proved that there is more to cry over than spilled champagne. Peter Weber had to once again navigate his way through drama between two of the women. In this episode, Sydney Hightower spoke to Peter about how she believed one of the other women wasn't being genuine. When he asked which woman she responded to, she called out Alayah Benavidez. After speaking with the other women, they told Peter they believed she put on a fake personality in front of the cameras.

Victoria P. even revealed that she had known Alayah from the pageant world, but Alayah had begged her not to tell producers that they knew each other. This caused in Peter ultimately not giving Alayah a rose.

“It just sucks I’m going out because of other people’s opinions and not what he saw directly from me,” Reality TV World notes Benavidez said. “That’s the hardest part.”

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, there are contestants on the show that believe that Alayah was genuine.

"I love the way she did makeup. She did a makeup tutorial for us, actually, to kind of teach us because I knew nothing about makeup,” Jasmine Nguyen told told People TV’s Reality Check. They also asked if Jasmine had a problem with Alayah to which she replied, “I don’t have anything. I truly don’t. … When I say Alayah has been nothing but kind to me, she has and there’s nothing about her personality, there’s nothing about even the way she speaks that I find bad.”

Alayah has seemed to move on. She posted a picture on Instagram since the episode with her elimination aired with the caption, “Hey mom, I’m doing just fine.”

“I won’t bad mouth the other girls because that won’t solve anything, but I am so proud of you for not letting the negativity stop you from being you,” one follower commented. “I don’t think there’s any reason to believe the accusations of people who think happiness and positivity are seen as fake traits.”

“You are my FAVE. Hope you march back there and take what you deserve,” a second fan cheered.

“Stay strong girl! The other girls in the house are the ones who don’t seem genuine because they try to ruin other girls relations with Peter rather than focusing on their own,” a third wrote truthfully.

Alayah may be taking her fan's advice. During the previews for next week's episode, Alayah is seen returning to the mansion to change Peter's mind and win him back.
