'Bachelor' alum Michelle Money says prayers are helping daughter Brielle on life support

Former "Bachelor" contestant Michelle Money tearfully pleaded for prayers Sunday for her teen daughter Brielle, on life support following a skateboarding accident that caused serious brain trauma and a fractured skull.

Money, who competed on Season 15 of the ABC reality series, reported in an Instagram video Sunday that the pressure on Brielle's brain had increased and gave an emotional call for divine support.

"I just need everyone to pray right now, because we have to get her stabilized," Money said in the video, saying that the prayers had worked in the past. "I posted on my story to have you guys pray, and, once I posted, her numbers started going down."

Without stabilization, Money said, "we are going to have to put her into a deeper coma that has lots of other side effects that we don’t want, or we’re going to have to do surgery, and remove part of her skull."

A few hours after posting the fraught video, a more composed Money updated her Instagram story to say that her daughter had stabilized.

"It's been an emotional day. She's in a good place and has been for, like, four hours," Money said in the update. "Thank you for all the love and support and prayers."

The hospital drama came a week after Money shared a photo of Brielle in an intensive care unit at Intermountain Healthcare's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. The teen was put into a medically induced coma to relieve pressure on her brain.

Money said she was "forever grateful" to her neighbors who, while out for a walk, found her daughter and called 911.

She encouraged parents everywhere to make sure their children wear helmets, even if they complain.

"ALWAYS MAKE THEM WEAR THE HELMET," she wrote. "ALWAYS. EVEN WHEN THEY PUSH BACK."
