Babyface Assists Couple With Unforgettable Proposal At His Concert

Babyface has helped a couple catapult their love story to the next level.
During a meet and greet at his New York concert on Nov. 11, the “Whip Appeal” icon and his team assisted a fan with proposing to her girlfriend.
According to TMZ, Babyface received an Instagram DM from a fan laying out their plan to make the moment as special as possible. After the Madison Square Garden show, Angelica Pichardo brought her partner, Diana Rosario, backstage to meet the R&B vet.
While Rosario flicked it up with the 64-year-old musician, Pichardo got down on one knee to pop the question to her now-fiancée. After hearing “yes,” the couple took more pictures with Babyface, basking in the unforgettable moment.
“SHE SAID YES!!! When it’s the right time, you just know,” Pichardo captioned the moment on her Instagram. “Thank you @babyface for making this dream come true. She was so surprised!
I love you @deetaintedtreat our love is so magical. I felt like we needed a proper introduction to our forever.”
She added, “I’m sorry I couldn’t get the words out fast enough.”
Babyface isn’t the only star making proposal dreams come true.
At Beyoncé’s birthday Renaissance Tour stop on Sept. 4, the Queen Bey and her team helped comedian Lil Rel propose to his then-girlfriend. With the help of Bey’s mom, Tina Knowles, and JAY-Z, the couple was shown on the jumbotron screen moments before he popped the question, as Bey performed her heartwarming single “Love On Top.”
“SHE SAID YES!!!! What a story lol,” Lil Rel captioned a montage video on Instagram of clips leading up to the beautiful engagement. “Thanks @mstinaknowles and Jay for helping make this special moment happen. Tonight @beyonce put on an amazing B Day show thanks for letting have a little time on your show lol to make @dannellalane my fiancée… Love On Top!!! #LoveIsInTheAir #TheProposal.”
In another video, Rel and his fiancée, Dannella Lane, recalled almost missing his cue to propose due to a bathroom break.
“As soon as I started to use the bathroom, I started hearing [the opening notes] and I couldn’t stop my pee! I’m rushing back…The camera’s set up,” he said. “I can’t find my seat. I don’t know why I got confused. Maybe because of the moment, I’m nervous. So I ran in and then I ran back out to retrace my steps.”
The couple also recollected that when he returned to the arena, Bey allegedly had an exasperated look on her face as she waited on him to get back. “She was over you!” his fiancée joked as Rel added, “She was like, ‘When you gonna do this sh*t?!’”
