A Fayetteville baby girl did not survive her injuries Tuesday evening after being hit by gunfire in a shooting on Bunce Road in which two men were killed, police said Wednesday.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, shortly before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Terrance Jaiquann Melvin, 26, of the 1100 block of Bunce Road; Johnathan Alexander McMillian, 31, of the 3200 block of Sandhill Drive; and the 7-and-a-half-month-old child, whose name was not released, were all shot. The men were pronounced dead at the scene. The child died at the hospital, police said.

"The preliminary investigation has revealed that this was not a random incident. All parties involved were known to each other," a news release said.
