Baby Alligator Spotted Inside Magic Kingdom At Disney World
Guests were in for a surprise when visiting Magic Kingdom at Disney World over the weekend, as some spotted a baby alligator swimming around the lake near Tom Sawyer Island.
One social media user caught the reptile on camera and shared a video with TikTok.

In a video posted to TikTok over the weekend, Guests were shocked when they spotted a baby alligator swimming around the lake by Tom Sawyer Island inside Magic Kingdom.
Luckily, the reptile did not seem to come within proximity with any of the Guests, but that did not stop anyone from filming the alligator as he swam around the water.

Some fans enjoyed the video, as many made Disney references in the comments section. "It's Louis going down the bayou 😂," one fan wrote. Another commented, "Now we need to find that rotten Captain Hook 😂😂."
Alligators are pretty common in Disney World. In fact, since 2016, over 200 alligators have been removed from the parks and their surrounding areas. They often live in the lakes by the resorts and hotels, though sometimes they will venture into the Parks, just like this baby alligator who decided to visit Magic Kingdom.
Alligator Kills Child At Disney World
Nearly seven years ago, a tragedy occurred at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, a hotel near Magic Kingdom, when an alligator attacked and killed a two-year-old boy.
According to the LA Times, the Orange County Sheriff's Office report stated that the two-year-old boy wanted to build a sandcastle on the beach at the Disney Resort. His father and mother were standing nearby with their four-year-old daughter when they suddenly heard a splash. They turned around and saw the alligator grabbing their son's head.
Matt Graves, the father of the boy, jumped into the water and tried to pull on the gator's snout to free his son from its grip. Unfortunately, he was not successful, and the gator pulled the boy underwater, and both disappeared into the Seven Seas Lagoon.
A lifeguard on duty told deputies that he heard screaming and saw Matt Graves with blood "all over the right side of his face and right hand," per the report.
According to the LA Times, "Matt Graves went to Florida Hospital Celebration Health at the recommendation of emergency medical crews, who found he had multiple cuts on his hand from the alligator's teeth and scratches on his foot, the report states."
After 16 hours of searching Seven Seas Lagoon, crews found the boy's body intact not far from the shore where the alligator grabbed him. The report stated a medical examiner determined the cause of death to be a traumatic neck injury and drowning.
Since the unfortunate incident, Disney has installed wide boulder walls and rope fences along the Seven Seas Lagoon, Disney's Grand Floridan Resort and Spa, and the other Magic Kingdom Resort hotels that reside on the water. They also put up signs warning of alligators and snakes.
