A lot can change in seven years. Although Hailey Baldwin has the diamond ring around her finger, she once idolized Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez‘s relationship.

In a since-deleted tweet, the 21-year-old model said Bieber and Gomez were the “definition of a teenage dream.”

2011 was a different time! 👀

In 2012, she made it clear she shipped Jelena, calling Gomez “beyond flawless,” and writing she would be “forever alone.”

The model was also disappointed when Bieber and Gomez didn’t attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party that year.

Baldwin actually tweeted her future fiancé a lot — and we’re here for it.

Clearly, Baldwin is not meant to be “forever alone.” Bieber, 25, popped the question to the model on Saturday during a trip to the Bahamas. The “Sorry” singer confirmed the news on Monday in a lengthy post addressed to his future wife. “My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else,” Bieber wrote.

Although the proposal seemed fast to many, it was apparently something Bieber planned for weeks. TMZ reports that he asked for Stephen Baldwin’s blessing before popping the question to the actor’s daughter. The model’s cousin, Ireland Baldwin, also approves of the engagement. Alec Baldwin’s daughter posted a sweet message on Instagram on Monday night.

While their families are sure to make the couple’s wedding guest list, Baldwin has banned one thing from their nuptials: Bieber’s ’stache. When their pal, Ryan Good, joked on Instagram the singer should grow it back for their wedding, Baldwin felt pretty strongly otherwise.
