Award-winning gospel singer Shirley Caesar coming to Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — On May 18, the city of Chesapeake is expected to have a special visit as gospel singer Shirley Caesar plans to perform a concert.

This is in part of a celebration for the Virginia Aires 43rd Anniversary at Garden of Prayer Zion Temple. Over her career, Caesar has won plenty of awards including 11 Grammy awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and numerous chart-topping albums.
