Avril Lavigne announces ‘Greatest Hits’ tour, including Milwaukee concert with Simple Plan
Avril Lavigne’s explosive opening set for Machine Gun Kelly at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in 2022 was one of the best performances at Summerfest that year.
Now the pop-punk hitmaker is getting the amphitheater headlining concert she deserves.
On Monday, Lavigne announced a 27-date “Greatest Hits” tour. Spanning from May through September, kicking off and wrapping up in her native Canada, Lavigne’s North American tour comes to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater Sept. 9.

All Time Low is opening some dates, but Simple Plan will be part of the routing that includes Milwaukee. Pop-punk group Girlfriends will also open.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the box office (200 N. Harbor Drive) and amfamamp.com, with presales starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday online. Prices have yet to be announced.
