ITV Studios, ITV’s production and distribution wing, will retain the rights to the Armoza Formats catalog it acquired in 2019.

Known as one of the more successful indies in the international formats space, Armoza launched 19 years ago and built a reputation on entertainment shows such as Still Standing Marry Me Now and The Four. Those shows remain with ITV, but all future formats will be owned by Armoza. Ongoing productions aren’t affected.

In Israel, Armoza has produced ITV Studios formats such as Keshet’s upcoming version of dating show Love Island, plus three seasons of Come Dine With Me and two of quiz The 1% Club. An Arabic-language version of Come Dine With Me is currently in production, with an Arabic-language version of The Chase also in development in the region.

“Adapting to the changing needs of the market – exploring and finding new ways to do business has always been at the heart of Armoza Formats,” said Armoza. “I’m excited for the next chapter.”

Lisa Perrin, Managing Director, International Production, ITV Studios added: “Under Avi’s leadership, shows like Love Island and Come Dine with Me have launched successfully and I’m really pleased to continue to work with him as he represents our catalogue of award-winning formats.”
