Average gas price costs: Comparisons between March and August 2022 in each state

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine at the end of February created a worldwide panic at the pump as crude oil prices skyrocketed, part of the ripple effect of supply-demand disruptions from the sanctions handed down on Vladimir Putin and his regime. 

March became the origin of the gas price spikes that eventually hit an all-time-average high of over $5 in June. 

Since then, there has been some relief (relatively speaking) as we near the midpoint of August. 

How much have gas prices changed in your state from March to the present?
