‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Directors Clap Back at ‘Deadpool 2’ Dig in First-Ever Tweet

In their first-ever tweet, “Avengers: Infinity War” directors Joe and Anthony Russo took offense to a joke Ryan Reynolds made at Thanos’ expense when promoting his own Marvel film, “Deadpool 2.”

Under their shared twitter account, which had been tweet-free since it opened in 2015, the brothers gave Reynolds a simple message with an Infinity Gauntlet-powered flip of the bird — to which Reynolds replied, “I deserve that.”

 

 

 

 

On Wednesday, Reynolds’ Merc With a Mouth took a page out of Marvel Studios’ playbook when he asked fans not to say a “f—- word about the fun s–” in “Deadpool 2.”

See Reynolds’ original tweet below, which mocked a similar, and more heartfelt, tweet Marvel put out before “Avengers: Infinity War” started dominating the box office, asking that fans don’t spoil the film for anyone.
