The Avengers Invade 'Jimmy Kimmel:' Watch the Clips

Avengers, assemble — and do lots of silly things! That seemed to be the mandate on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, a special episode featuring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner, the stars of Avengers: Age of Ultron (in theaters May 1). Over the course of the evening, the six actors competed in a game of Family Feud, told behind-the-scenes superhero stories, took questions from fans, and welcomed one or two surprise guests. Watch all the highlights here, starting with the clip above, in which Downey and Ruffalo do a live re-creation of the “Science Bros” meme (i.e. fan art that shows Tony Stark and Bruce Banner in love).

In the above clip, Scarlett Johansson talks about being pregnant on set. Apparently, the sight of Mark Ruffalo in his awkward Hulk leotard made her feel less self-conscious. Watch to find out why Ruffalo calls his get-up the “man-canceling suit.”

Want to know who leads the Avengers in real life? The actors dodge the question, but it sounds like Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner make the best party patrol.

Here’s the cast taking questions from die-hard Marvel fans, and proving once and for all that Robert Downey Jr. is the biggest (and most fabulous) diva on set. There’s also a surprise appearance from a certain Avengers cast member who won’t be returning for the sequel. Or will he?

The Avengers turn against each other to play a very chaotic game of Family Feud, which leaves us wondering 1) How often does Mark Ruffalo fall asleep at the movies, and 2) Why does Chris Hemsworth think that Peter Pan is a profession?

Naturally, a special Avengers episode needs a post-credits scene (even if Age of Ultron reportedly doesn’t have one). Paul Rudd, star of Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man, shows up to dismantle Jimmy Kimmel’s living room.
