Authorities in Alabama believe they’ve found the remains of Aniah Blanchard, the stepdaughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris, who was abducted over a month ago.

Lee County District Attorney Brandon Hughes told the Associated Press that human remains had been found in Macon County, which is next to Lee County in Alabama, and they have “good reason” to believe that they belong to Blanchard. In a statement, Auburn police said that a tip led them to the location of the body, and they are working to make a positive identification.

Blanchard, 19, was last seen on Oct. 23 on the security footage of an Auburn convenience store. An extensive search was launched after she went missing, and several days later her abandoned car was found 50 miles from her home. There was a significant amount of blood found in the car, which indicated that someone had sustained a life-threatening injury. Forensic tests concluded that the blood belonged to Blanchard.

Three people have been arrested in connection to the abduction. Ibraheem Yazeed, 29, was seen looking at Blanchard on convenience store security footage, and a witness at the store said that he saw Yazeed forcing Blanchard into her car before they drove away. Antwain Shamar Fisher, 35, is believed to have helped Yazeed dispose of the body. David Lee Johnson Jr. was also arrested for his involvement. Johnson was charged with hindering prosecution, though authorities have not revealed how Johnson interfered with the investigation, according to MMA Junkie.

Harris was scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem on Dec. 7 in Washington, D.C., but decided not to fight after the disappearance of his stepdaughter.
