Austin Reaves and Jenna Barber’s love story started from a young age.

Although the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard has kept quiet about his relationship with Barber, the two grew up in Newark, Arkansas, and attended Cedar Ridge High School. The New York Post reported that the couple have been together since 2014. However, Reaves has never publicly confirmed their relationship.

Still, Barber has supported Reaves' basketball career since the very beginning: In May 2020, she shared a post on Facebook about a game-winning shot Reaves made while playing at the University of Oklahoma. Barber also cheered her boyfriend on during the Los Angeles Lakers' playoff run in 2023.

She’s from Arkansas

Barber is originally from Newark, Arkansas, where she also still lives, according to her Facebook.

She also stayed in her home state for her education, attending the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Barber earned an associate's degree in science and graduated magna cum laude in May 2020. She later attended the University of Arkansas and graduated in December 2022. She's currently enrolled in Logan College of Chiropractic.

She has two sisters

Barber has a twin sister, Jordan Barber Wheeler, who was born on Dec. 20, 2000.

Jordan studied communication sciences and disorders at Arkansas State University and now works as a speech-language pathologist assistant. Like her sister, Jordan also lives in Arkansas with her husband, Keaton Wheeler. Back in April 2023, Jordan and Keaton attended a Lakers playoff basketball game in Memphis, Tennessee, where they cheered on Reaves.

Barber also has a younger sister, Jaden Barber.

She loves to be active

Barber enjoys spending time outdoors and being active. She has shared photos of herself on social media hiking, riding bikes, riding horses and spending time at the beach.

She and Reaves love golf

Basketball isn’t the only sport Reaves and Barber love. The couple are also major golf fans. They attended the U.S. Open together in June 2023. Barber shared photos from their trip on Facebook, writing, “u can always catch us on a golf course.”

Barber also posted a picture of Reaves playing a round, captioning the photo, “always gotta find the golf courses." So, it was no surprise that for Reaves’ birthday in May 2023, she celebrated him — and his love of golf.

“happy birthday to my person!!! i hope your day was full of golf love you so much!” she wrote alongside a snap of the two on a course.

She previously worked at a pharmacy

Before heading to the University of Arkansas, Barber worked at Newark Pharmacy, per her Facebook. She shared a post thanking her co-workers for a thoughtful gift basket they gave her on her last day of work in August 2020.

“i have the sweetest work family!! they make work life so fun and easygoing, and i can’t thank them enough for all their love and support. i will miss you all & see you soon!!!!” she captioned the post.

She was in a sorority

Barber was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority while at the University of Arkansas. She shared multiple posts on Facebook about her love for her sorority.

“the friendships college life gives you is indescribable. my heart is so happy #1897,” she captioned one. In another, she shared photos from the initiation ceremony.

She’s a VSCO girl

While Barber is active on Facebook, she also has a VSCO account where she posts edited, curated photos of her life. On her page, Barber has shared photos with Reaves, nail art, her interior design taste and her love of sweets.

She supports his basketball career

Barber is Reaves’ No. 1 fan. In the summer of 2023, the couple traveled to the FIBA Basketball World Cup together. Barber uploaded photos and videos to her Facebook of Reaves playing in various games. She also documented their time off the court, where they played golf and relaxed on the beach.

The Arkansas native was very supportive of Reaves throughout the 2022-2023 season. In January, she gushed about him on Facebook after a Lakers game in Los Angeles. She wrote, “some of my favorite things: lakers basketball, traveling, good company, & #15."

She also attended the Lakers’ playoffs in May 2023 and shared a series of photos on and off the court on Facebook. “3-1 baby!!!! such a fun chapter in life 💛,” she captioned the post.
