Austin Dillon’s backside will forever reflect that he’s a Daytona 500 champion.

Amidst the celebrations after his win in Sunday’s 500, Dillon and some of his crew members got tattoos celebrating the occasion. Dillon’s is on his ass.

Via ESPN:

“You’ll never be able to see it,” he quipped during the winner’s news conference Monday morning at Daytona International Speedway. “It’s a pretty cool looking today. [My wife] Whitney is probably the only one that is going to see it for a while.”

The only lap Dillon led in the race was the final one after Aric Almirola went spinning off his bumper in turn 3. Dillon then led the rest of the race as Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace battled for second.

His win came 20 years after Dale Earnhardt’s only win in the Daytona 500 and 17 years to the day when Earnhardt died in the Daytona 500. The race has only been run twice on Feb. 18 since Earnhardt’s death in 2001 and both times Richard Childress Racing cars have won. In 2007, Kevin Harvick beat Mark Martin to the finish line.
