Aurora Meadows, a new event venue, will host grand opening on June 1

Aurora Meadows, a new event venue, will be opening its doors to the public to celebrate the start of the 2023 event season on June 1.

Mayor Ann Womer Benjamin will be at a 4 p.m. ribbon-cutting, which will be followed by a reception. The grand opening will include comments from the owners and Womer Benjamin, refreshments, tours and a branded treat to take home.

“Parties and events are what we all look forward to. It’s what we plan our lives around. Being a part of some of the most important moments in people’s lives is what we live for,” said Brittany Rutkowski, owner of Aurora Meadows. “Watching the faces of our clients as their dreams become a reality is what this business is all about.”

Aurora Meadows is located at the previous Aurora Country Club, at 50 Trail End, which has been remodeled. The company offers event planning for private and corporate customers.

“We want to bring something to this area that is new and fresh,” Rutkowski said.
