BRISTOL — Elkhart Civic Theatre will hold auditions for the ECT Youth Production of “The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales” at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21 and 22 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 411 W. Vistula St.

Adapted by John Glore from the 1992 book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, the play skewers familiar fairy tales and their characters by derailing them with ineloquent giants, sassy barnyard animals, colossal cow pies and enough stinky cheese to go around.
