AUBURN — Auburn football's 2024 recruiting class is now up to four members.

He joins defensive backs A'Mon Lane and Jayden Lewis and quarterback Walker White as recruits in the class of 2024 that have pledged to play for coach Hugh Freeze.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Burnette is the No. 10 running back of his cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite, and is tabbed as the No. 158 prospect overall. He's also rated as the No. 8 recruit in the state.

Burnette has offers from nearly two dozen other programs. The SEC schools interested include Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee, according to 247Sports.
