Auburn basketball’s SEC opponents announced for 2022-23

Auburn men’s basketball’s 2022-23 SEC schedule was announced Wednesday.

The Tigers will face Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M both at home and on the road.

Auburn also plays Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi State and Missouri at home and Kentucky, LSU, and South Carolina on the road.

The dates, times and television information for games have yet to be announced.

Auburn is coming off of a second-round exit from the NCAA Tournament after losing to Miami (Fla.). The Tigers won an SEC regular-season championship last season after leading the league from start to finish. Auburn returns four of its six top scorers from last season, including K.D. Johnson, Wendell Green Jr., Allen Flanigan, and Jaylin Williams.

CBS Sports had Auburn at a No. 13 spot in its preseason rankings.

The Tigers already have nine non-conference games on the schedule for 2022-23, including a season opener at home against George Mason on Nov. 7. Other non-conference opponents on the schedule include USF, Winthrop, Bradley, St. Louis, USC, Washington, West Virginia, and either Northwestern or Liberty.
