Wilmington actress Aubrey Plaza adds so many new feathers in her cap all the time, it may look like a parrot is holding her head hostage.
The Hollywood star is a voice actor in the new Netflix anime series "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off," premiering Friday, Nov. 17.
She reprises her role of Julie Powers, the no-nonsense character she played in the live-action film "Scott Pilgrim vs the World" (2010).
In "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off," the title character is smitten with Ramona Flowers, a New Yorker. But he has to defeat her seven evil exes, in order to date her.
Plaza also makes her off-Broadway debut in "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea" at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York this fall. The show is set for a 10-week run from Monday, Oct. 30, through Sunday, Jan. 7.
In addition to that, the Ursuline Academy alum will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is cast in the TV series "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries," formerly titled "Agatha: Coven of Chaos."
Originally announced for winter 2023, the show is now slated to debut on Disney+ in early fall 2024, due to Hollywood's writers and actors strikes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Plaza has been active on the picket line, demanding better wages for her peers.
