"Atypical's" Casey And Izzie Are The Most Wholesome Queer Couple, So Here's An Appreciation Post

Spoiler alert: Do not read on if you haven't seen the final season of Atypical!

The last season of Atypical may have been a miss (do not come for me — this is just my opinion!!!), but there is one thing the show never fails to deliver on.

Netflix

Izzie and Casey. Casey and Izzie. Cazzie, if you will.

Netflix

They are — simply, honestly, truly, most definitely — everything. to. me.

Izzie (Fivel Stewart) and Casey (Brigette Lundy-Paine) portray a nuanced relationship between two high school girls in a way that is so refreshing, beautiful, poignant, and — most importantly — REALISTIC.

They're shy and awkward, and they mess up (a lot), but at the end of the day, their love is so pure and unabated! It's a particularly wonderful example of how WLW relationships should be portrayed onscreen, with this season exploring both girls' journey with their identity through the school's Gender and Sexuality Alliance.

So, without further ado, here are some tweets about one of the best queer TV couples I've seen to date:
