atmos Takes Us Back to the 90s, Remastering Iconic COOGI Sweaters

Perhaps no genre of sweater is more linked to 90s hip hop than the COOGI sweater; the hyper-patterned jumpers were a mainstay of nearly every major rapper's wardrobe throughout the decade. Today in 2022, atmos and COOGI are linking on a couple of iterations of the iconic design.

Known for its wild collaborations with various brands such as Nike, adidas, ASICS, and more, atmos is linking up with the Australian clothing brand COOGI to create a collection of sweaters and a Be@rbrick to merge both brands' ethos.

And while we may not be as cool and fly as the Notorious B.I.G., this new collection will definitely make you feel like a hip-hop superstar.

This is how it’s going down.

Atmos is remastering the Australian brand's renowned kaleidoscopic knit patterned sweater made famous by the likes of Biggie and Diddy (or Puff as he was known back then) in the 1990s by infusing the atmos aesthetic into the iconic pieces. The first sweater features "atmos blue" throughout the knit and COOGI's multi-colored swirl is spotlighted within the atmos logo emblem on the chest. The second sweater is a flip on the first color option, with the rainbow swirl being seen throughout the knitting and "atmos blue" within the logo.

To coincide with the launch, the duo teamed up with MediCom Toy to create a limited Be@rbrick 100% & 400% box set that features the multi-colored pattern from COOGI throughout the body, with the atmos logo on the chest.
