For its lower-budgeted films, Universal follows a very savvy release strategy as movies become available on Digital HD and VOD just after an exclusive 17-day theatrical window. So, Asteroid City could become available for rentals in mid-July and start streaming on Peacock in late August (or maybe in early September).
