The "Queen Charlotte" Actors Who Played Brimsley And Reynolds Broke Down Their Emotional Final Scene Together

🚨 Warning: Major spoilers for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story ahead.🚨

If you've caught up with Queen Charlotte, then you are likely in agreement that one of the most moving scenes is when Young Brimsley and Reynolds dance together at the final ball, only for it to cut to Brimsley dancing alone.

This begs the questions: What happened to Brimsley? What the hell happened to Reynolds? Where is Reynolds? Did Reynolds...die? Oh, sweet ambiguity!

Well, I sat down with the actors who played Young Brimsley and Reynolds (Sam Clemmett and Freddie Dennis respectively) about what they think is the fate of the two lovebirds.

"Reynolds is on holiday in the Maldives, sipping on a mojito," Freddie began with a laugh. "That's what we keep constantly saying, but I think ultimately we don't know. But regardless, they are deeply in love with each other. And we want to find out."

Sam then interjected by saying, "Yeah, please, if you do find out what happens, let us know."

As it turns out, the original final moments with Reynolds and Brimsley were supposed to look a little different. "They didn't use this shot, but one of the ideas that we played with was me, younger Reynolds, dancing with Hugh [Sachs]," Freddie added.

"So after we shot the scene of Sam and myself, I then went and danced with Hugh and that was, as an actor, probably the most moving day that I had on set. It was brilliant. But then it didn't make the final cut," Freddie explained. "I think they left it more open. I think that would have sent too much of a message."
