As the sun sets on 2017 and a new year of basketball begins, it’s only right that we look back on a year filled with buzzer-beaters, outstanding performances and emotional moments.

So, we posed the question … what was your favorite NBA moment of 2017?

It’s not surprising that Russell Westbrook’s game-winner against the Nuggets, which knocked Denver out of the playoff hunt and pretty much secured his first MVP title, was a fan-favorite.

San Antonio’s ageless wonder Manu Ginobili’s game-clinching block on Rockets star James Harden in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals received plenty of love.

Warriors star Kevin Durant’s dagger 3-pointer over LeBron James in Game 3 of the NBA Finals was another popular pick.

Who could forget Miami’s Dion Waiters’ game-winner vs. the Warriors back in January?

Philadelphia’s T.J. McConnell’s game-winner in Madison Square Garden featured an iconic celebration that became Joel Embiid’s Twitter avatar.

Also receiving some appreciation from fans:

— Phoenix guard Devin Booker’s 70-point game

— Minnesota’s Andrew Wiggins’ crazy game-winner against the Thunder

— John Wall’s shot to sent the Eastern Conference Semifinals to a Game 7

— Dirk Nowitzki’s shot to enter the 30,000 point club

May 2018 bring just as much NBA craziness as 2017.
