Ashley Tisdale says being pregnant and sick is 'horrible'

Ashley Tisdale is sharing some downsides of being pregnant and having a 3-year-old.

On Tuesday, April 23, the High School Musical alum, 38, told fans she was sick in bed and added that it was all down to daughter Jupiter, whom she welcomed in March 2021 with husband Christopher French, bringing illnesses home.

"Let me tell you something, being sick while pregnant is no fun. Like literally, urgh, it's horrible," Tisdale shared in a video posted to her Instagram Stories. "It's horrible. This pregnancy you guys, I've been sick so many times because my 3-year-old brings so much s--- home."

"Stomach flus, colds, all of it. And it is so rough, it's so rough," the Suite Life of Zack & Cody star added. "So if there's any pregnant moms out there who are trying to just get by, I feel you,"

Despite being unwell, Tisdale still managed to celebrate her husband French's birthday, sharing multiple photos of the family marking his special day on her Instagram Stories.

Two images showed French in bed with their daughter Jupiter as she giggled and wore a birthday headband. The youngster also kissed her dad on the cheek in the second cute snap.

Tisdale also shared a clip of French being given some birthday cakes while holding Jupiter, who helped blow out the candles, on his knee. The actress posted the video with Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" playing in the background.

The former Disney star, who married French in 2014, then shared a sweet post for her husband's birthday on Instagram, writing alongside multiple photos, "Happy birthday to the love of my life @cmfrench. You are like a fine wine getting better with age."

"I’m so so SO grateful you were born today. You are the greatest human I know, and I don’t know if it’s the pregnancy hormones but I’m still so freaking crazy about you! You are the best dad, best husband, best dog dad and I’m so lucky to be your wife. I LOVE YOU MR FRENCH ❤️❤️," she added.

While speaking to PEOPLE in February 2023 about being a mom to daughter Jupiter, she shared, "She definitely looks like my husband, but definitely is my personality."

"Just her expressions and just how she says things and it's just those little tiny things because at first I'm like, 'Gosh, she doesn't look anything like me,' " Tisdale added.

"I was like, 'I just had you in my stomach for so long and how do you not look like me?' " she continued. "But then you're like, 'Oh, you are so me. It's not even funny.' "
