Ashley Tisdale insists she's never really been one to curse a lot.

So imagine her surprise when her two-year-old daughter, Jupiter Iris, with husband Christopher French, blurted out a particular F-word.

The actress, 38, had been given the satirical book Go the F--K to Sleep as a gift, and somehow it ended up in her daughter's storybook collection.

"My nanny read it to her [without knowing]," Tisdale explains. "And then I grabbed it one night until I realized what it was, so I just kept on reading, 'Go to sleep.' "

But the actress' daughter was quick to correct her. "She goes, 'No, mama, no. It's go the f--- to sleep.' I was like, 'What the heck?' "

Tisdale's nanny later explained that her daughter told her it was a book her dad read to her, so she assumed it was okay. "She has not said it since, but we were dying laughing," the High School Musical alum adds.

The actress, who founded the health and wellness brand Being Frenshe, chatted with PEOPLE for One Last Thing:

Last time I danced
I was in my kitchen with my daughter. She loves dancing so we always have a little dance party. I’m pretty sure it was to Encanto.

Last time my pet made me laugh
We have two dogs, and Sushi, our Maltipoo, makes me laugh. She’s always staring at me. I think she’s been sent to watch over us.

Last time I saw the sunset
We have a place in Malibu, and my husband and I will go there and watch the sunset. We love taking in those moments and just being present.

Last obsession
I just started using the new scents of Being Frenshe body wash. They are unreal. There’s so many stressful moments in life, so it’s nice to be able to take a shower and have that scent help ground you.

Last time I sang out loud
Yesterday I was singing the song “This Wish” from the Wish movie in the car. My daughter sings nonstop. The fact that she knows all the words to songs is so wild. I think she’s destined to be a singer for sure.

Being Frenshe is now available in Target stores.
