Ashley Tisdale is one of Disney Channel's most iconic stars. Not only did she star in the 'High School Musical' franchise and 'Suite Life of Zack and Cody' but she also released some hot pop tracks. She recently sat down with Elle magazine to dish on her former Disney days and even shared who her worst on-screen kiss was with.
One of the actors that she worked closest with through Disney is Zac Efron. Efron was recently hospitalized while filming 'Killing Zac Efron.'
Zac Efron played heartthrob Troy Bolton in 'High School Musical' while Tisdale played the high maintenance diva Sharpay Evans. However, Efron also made a cameo in Tisdale's show 'Suite Life of Zack and Cody' in which the two actors shared a kiss. When asked what her worst on screen kiss was, Tisdale revealed that it was, in fact, this kiss as reported by [Perez Hilton.] (https://perezhilton.com/ashley-tisdale-worst-on-screen-kiss/) She immediately tried to soften the blow by adding that he's like a brother to her and that the kiss was too steamy.
“I’ll tell you why it was the worst, OK?. It’s the worst because I’m so close to him and he’s like my brother. At the time, he was used to acting on, like, Warner Bros, which is The CW, and we were on Disney Channel. And so he, like, he tried kissing me with his tongue, and I was like, ‘Get away from me!’ I, like, closed my mouth so fast," Tisdale explained to the outlet while sipping on a cocktail.
"I was like, ‘This is Disney Channel! We don’t kiss like that on Disney Channel!’ It’s just weird when you’re so close to somebody. We had already done [High School Musical]. I had known him for years before. That is why it was the worst. It’s just [that] we’re just too close,” Tisdale explained.
Tisdale also dished on 'Suite Life of Zack and Cody' stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse. When asked which she'd rather bring on a deserted island, she didn't have too tough of a time picking.
“You know, they’re both like my little brothers. You know who texts me back all the time? Is Dylan Sprouse. He’s the one who texts me back. Cole, sometimes silence, so I’m taking Dylan. That’s for just ghosting on me, Cole,” she responded.
Tisdale's career is still on the rise. She most recently has been on 'Carol's Second Act' and Netflix's 'Merry Happy Whatever.' She also is still working with Disney voicing Candace in the recently announced 'Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe.'
