Ashley Park is thankful for all the support she’s received after being hospitalized in the intensive care unit for “critical septic shock.”

On Sunday, the actress, 32, posted a series of photos on Instagram and revealed that she’s been “responding to treatments” and is now resting following the health emergency.

“I’m deeply moved and thankful for your beautiful messages of support and comfort, your personal stories of sepsis and hospitalization, and truly to every person who has reached out with love… every message has honestly boosted me into a quick and hopeful recovery.”

Park shared that she was medically cleared to fly after “responding to treatments.”

She’s now “recovering and resting” in Paris with her Emily in Paris family, thanking them and Netflix for “their genuine kindness and gracious patience as I wait to be medically cleared to work.”

Park’s post included a photo of her doing an acupuncture treatment on her leg and another snap of her hugging her Emily in Paris costar Lily Collins.

“I promise I'm breathing through this all and taking as much care of myself as I can to get back into fighting shape,” she said. “In the meantime, thanks for the couch cuddles @lilyjcollins ;)”

“Couldn’t love you more and hugging you made me feel like home. You’re an absolute light sister 🤍” Collins, 34, commented before sharing the photo of the pair to her own Instagram Story. “And I couldn’t be more fulfilled knowing you’re here, more relieved knowing you’re ok, and more grateful for your health and heart.”

Earlier this month, Park first revealed on Instagram that she spent the first weeks of 2024 hospitalized after “what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock” and affected several of her organs.

Septic shock is a life-threatening medical condition that occurs when an infection in the body causes extremely low blood pressure and organ failure due to sepsis, according to the Mayo Clinic.

At the time, Park said she’s most grateful for her boyfriend and Emily in Paris costar Paul Forman, for being “unconditionally” by her side throughout the health scare.

“You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know,” she said alongside photos of Forman, 29, with her in the hospital. “I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.”

Park admitted that she was hesitant to share the news of her hospitalization because she’s “still in the throes of recovery.” However she said she knows she’s “safely on the other side of the worst.”

“I love you all,” she ended. “I’m healing and I promise I’m gonna be okay ❤️.”
