Ashlee Simpson Dances with Daughter Jagger in Cute Home Video: 'Boogie Down with the Queen'

The 'Pieces of Me' singer showed off her 8-year-old daughter's dance moves in an adorable Instagram clip posted on Thursday

Ashlee Simpson's daughter Jagger Snow is following in her mom's musical footsteps.

On Thursday, the singer and actress, 39, shared an adorable clip of her and her 8-year-old dancing to Beyoncé's chart-topping country track "Texas Hold 'Em."

Jagger proved she's a great performer like her mom in the sweet clip, with Simpson showing off her moves as her daughter danced beside her.

Simpson, who is from Texas like Beyoncé, captioned the video, "TEXAS..my home. boogie down with the queen Jagger 😊 ❤️."

The "Pieces of Me" hitmaker's sister, Jessica Simpson, 43, was among those commenting on the clip. "Well this made me smile… Texas style," she wrote.

Simpson shares Jagger and son Ziggy Blu, 3, with husband Evan Ross. She also shares 15-year-old son Bronx Mowgli with her ex-husband Pete Wentz, 44.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show in January 2023, Simpson spoke about her son being mistaken for being a lot older than he actually is.

At the time, the "Lala" hitmaker recalled going to the movies with Bronx and her husband Ross, when the youngster was offered a glass of wine.

"I'm sitting next to Bronx and Evan is on [the other] side, and we're at one of those movies where they offer you wine or something, and they were like, 'Oh sir [to Bronx], would you like something?' " she said.

Simpson quickly moved to correct the waiter, saying at the time, "He's not my friend — well he's my friend, but this is my kid, my 14-year-old son."

Elsewhere in the interview, Simpson spoke about Jagger being a fan of her music after discovering her mom's first album, Autobiography, which was released back in 2004.

"My daughter, she's the one who's like, 'I want to hear mommy's music,' " she shared. "So I get to listen to it quite frequently now."

Simpson regularly shares family updates on social media. In December, she posted some adorable pics and clips from a visit to Aspen, Colorado. "Happy December 1st my snow angels ❄️," she wrote.
