As Suspected, That Jessica Lowndes/Jon Lovitz Relationship Was Faked to Promote a Music Video

Were you horribly distressed Monday morning to wake up and be immediately confronted with the details of Jon Lovitz’s sex life? Yes, we all were. Jessica Lowndes has admit that her “engagement” to the SNL veteran was fake and in service of promoting her new music video.
In the video, for a song called “Deja Vu,” Lovitz plays Lowndes’s love interest, except there’s a twist at the end which… you know what? I’m gonna spoil it right here because let’s be honest: You’re not watching that video. The whole thing turns out to be a hospital-bound Lovitz dreaming about his nurse. There’s also a sort of pop-up video gimmick going on throughout that seems like a serious case of failing to kill one’s darlings.
TL;DR: Jessica Lowndes and Jon Lovitz are not engaged, but the former 90210 star would like to make you very aware of her music career.
Lowndes owned up to the hoax in a post on Instagram saying, “I know it’s still the last week of March, but is it too early to say, ‘April Fools?’”
As always, Chrissy Teigen knew what was up from the second it went down.
