Simhadri admits to being skeptical when he first saw The Devil Wears Prada, but found himself drawn in with the incredible acting and sharp storytelling. Beyond the glitz, glamour, and fashion, however, it was Streep’s dedication to her role and to her craft that inspired Simhadri as his own career has flourished. In particular, Streep’s ability to tackle nuance in characters never ceases to amaze him.

“For a character like that, how easy can it be to kind of hate everyone on the spot? Any time I watch a movie I’m like, ‘How would I have approached that role?’ I couldn’t have,” he explains.
