EXCLUSIVE: Kimiko Glenn, the actress best known for her award-winning work on Netflix’s acclaimed series Orange Is the New Black, has signed with Artists First for management.

On Jenji Kohan’s groundbreaking Netflix series, centered on happenings within a minimum-security New York prison, Glenn played inmate Brook Soso. She joined the show in Season 2 and by the time it had aired all seven seasons, claimed three Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Most recently, Glenn has been seen on ABC’s The Goldbergs, Facebook Watch’s Sacred Lies, Hulu’s History of the World Part II, Michelle Obama’s Netflix series Waffles + Mochi’s Restaurant, and Doug Ellin’s Ramble On opposite Martin & Charlie Sheen and Kevin Connolly. She was previously a series regular for three seasons on YouTube Originals’ Streamy Award winner, Liza on Demand.

Other TV credits for Glenn include a series regular role in the second season of TBS’s The Guest Book, Drunk History, HBO’s High Maintenance, Comedy Central’s Broad City, and FX’s Married. She’s also been seen opposite Alexandra Daddario in the rom-com Can You Keep a Secret?, currently streaming on Netflix, and in Lionsgate’s feature Nerve opposite Emma Roberts and Dave Franco.

Also highly active as a voice actor in animation, Glenn voices the title role in both Baby Shark’s Big Show! (Nickelodeon) and Kiff (Disney Channel). Most notably, she voiced the role of Peni Parker in the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, having returned for sequel Across the Spider-Verse and a forthcoming threequel, as well.

Glenn made her Broadway debut as Dawn in the musical adaptation of Waitress, which was nominated for a 2016 Tony Award for Best Musical as well as a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical. Additional stage credits for the actress include the first national tour of Spring Awakening and the title role in The Flaming Lips musical Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, which had its world premiere at the La Jolla Playhouse.

Glenn continues to be represented by Buchwald and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
