COVID-19 strikes in the ballroom again.

Dancing With the Stars announced Tuesday that professional ballroom dancer Artem Chigvintsev will not appear on the show's Latin night after testing positive for coronavirus. Chigvintsev's partner, former Bachelorette star Charity Lawson, will instead dance with another pro, Ezra Sosa.

The DWTS Instagram account posted a photo of Lawson and Sosa in rehearsal and wrote, "Artem will not be dancing tonight due to COVID. Wishing him a quick recovery! Charity will perform with Ezra for #LatinNight."

Lawson is set to perform a cha-cha to "She Bangs," by Ricky Martin, on the show Tuesday evening.

In last week's season 32 premiere, Lawson and Chigvintsev wowed the judges with a tango to Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)." The duo earned the highest score of the night, with 22 out of 30 points, after Bruno Tonioli awarded them a whopping 8, the highest marks from a judge that evening.

Bachelorette stars have a stellar track record on DWTS. Kaitlyn Bristowe was the winner of season 29, and Gabby Windey placed second in season 31. While Windey danced with Val Chmerkovskiy (who also missed a week of competition last season), Bristowe danced with Chigvintsev.

Lawson is likely hoping to recapture that Bachelorette crossover magic, but first she has to get through Latin week with Sosa.
