Art Adventure class at Rawlings Public Library

100 E. Abriendo Ave. | 1-3 p.m. Nov. 3 and Nov. 10 | Children ages 7 to 12 are invited to participate in the free Pueblo Arts Alliance classes. All supplies are provided. Register online.

Indigenous Fusion at Pueblo Heritage Museum

201 W. B St. | 11 a.m.-9 p.m. | Enjoy First Friday with an art exhibit, Native People's Exhibit, cultural dances and Pueblo Rocks family activities with rock snake painting. Bring an item for the Dia de los Muertos community altar. The event is free and open to all ages.

"Home is Where the Art is" exhibit at Steel City Art Works

216 S. Union Ave. | 5-8 p.m. | Enjoy First Friday Art Walk talking with the featured artists about their paintings, mixed media, ceramic and furniture art. Shop one-of-a-kind gifts during special sales throughout the month. The gallery is open free to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

First Friday opening at Liminal Space Gallery

107 S. Grand Ave. | 5-8 p.m. | The art of husband and wife Francisco and Missy Luna will be on exhibit through Nov. 25. Missy Luna's paintings are whimsical and unique while Pueblo native Franciso Luna is an abstract artist. Complimentary refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. The free Van Gogh Van will be shuttling visitors to galleries participating in the First Friday Art Walk. Regular gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

131 Spring St. | 6-9 p.m. | Philip Rader opens, “Improvisations”  in the Big Blo Gallery. Matthew Hilyard, Ryan Soper, and Genevieve Waller will present, “Don’t be Afraid! It’s too Late," in the Original Gallery. Both exhibits run through Nov. 24 and are free and open to the public.

Mini writing workshops at Pueblo West Library

Joe Martinez Blvd. | 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. | In honor of November being National Novel Writing Month, Helen Strand, a published poet and cofounder of the Pueblo West Writers' Club will talk about the importance of verbs at 6 p.m. followed by Joan Fry, a Pueblo Chieftain columnist and published short story writer, talking about the uses and misuses of dialogue at 6:45 p.m. Both workshops are free.

Snow White ballet at Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. | Based on a fairy tale by The Brothers Grimm, the ballet of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs plays off the Disney animated movie and sets it to the music of Polish composer Bogdan Pavlovsky. Leading the cast is Kateryna Kukhar, prima ballerina and dance judge for "Dancing With the Stars." The performance will inspire audiences young and old alike with bright costumes and scenery, technical dance and comedic acting that brings the love story to life. Cost ranges from $33 to $81.
