‘Arrow’: Another Major Actor Will Not Return For Season 7 As Series Regular

Another original cast member will not be returning the CW’s Arrow for Season 7.

Paul Blackthorne, who has played Quentin Lance since the series’ launch in 2012, will not return to the hit superhero drama as a series regular, Deadline has learned. The news follows last month’s reveal that Willa Holland had made her last appearance as Thea Queen.

The departures of Blackthorne and Holland leave only two original series regulars for the upcoming seventh season — Stephen Amell (Oliver/Arrow) and David Ramsey (Diggle/Spartan). Colton Haynes was recently added a new series regular for Season 7

The superhero show, based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, follows playboy Oliver Queen (Amell) who returns home after five years of being stranded on an island and decides to fight crime as a vigilante hero who uses trick arrows to foil his foes.
