Schwarzenegger teamed up with Alamo Drafthouse locations around the country for a unique marketing campaign for the upcoming "Terminator: Dark Fate."

Fans thought they were going to a screening of the 1991 classic, "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" but a last-minute switcheroo had them seeing the newest movie in the franchise.

People were ecstatically surprised and Schwarzenegger was loving that they were able to pull off the "prank."

"Got punk’d tonight by @Terminator Thought I was gonna see T2 & 25 minutes of extended #TerminatorDarkFate preview with @CE_Albanese in VA. Nope, @Schwarzenegger revealed in a clip before the preview it was actually the FULL movie. Talk about being pleasantly surprised," one fan described of the experience.

"Everybody knows I like pranks," Schwarzenegger happily responded.

Another fan said the movie was so good he couldn't even finish his dinner.

"I could hardly eat my pizza while watching it. What a solid sequel and great start to a new trilogy," he wrote.

Schwarzenegger was stoked for the review, but admitted, "I’m sorry about your pizza."

Along with the surprise screening, fans were given an exclusive poster touting some impressive "Dark Fate" art.

The stylized art features Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Mackenzie Davis staring down a Terminator machine.

Official reviews of the movie are still a few weeks away, but the initial reactions from fans have been overwhelmingly positive, with some hailing the flick as the best in the Terminator franchise.

"Terminator: Dark Fate" hits theaters November 1.
