Arkansas cornerback Ryan Pulley said he won’t play again in 2017 after suffering a shoulder injury in the second half of the Razorbacks’ 49-7 victory over Florida A&M on Thursday.

Pulley posted the news to Facebook on Friday afternoon. You can read his entire post over at HawgSports.com.

“To my family, friends & fans… Got injured (shoulder) last night got my results this morning yea I’m done for the season when it happened I asked why but soon I said it I paused and told myself never question God because everything happen for a reason. But I’m going to stay prayed up through this process and bounce back better than ever & stronger than ever.”

Pulley is Arkansas’ best cornerback. He had 47 tackles and two interceptions in 2016. While the interception total may seem low, he had 13 passes broken up.

A junior, Pulley has the option of applying for a medical redshirt because the injury happened so early in the season.

Arkansas plays TCU on Sep. 9.
