Arkansas DL hilariously falls and fails to get injury timeout before Auburn scores TD

This is not McTelvin Agim’s finest moment.

The Arkansas defensive lineman tried to get an injury timeout in the first quarter of his team’s game vs. Auburn. But he dropped to the ground as Auburn had already lined up at the line of scrimmage.

As officials didn’t grant Agim’s plea for a timeout, Auburn ran a play to the other side of the field and quarterback Jarrett Stidham scored.

Defensive players falling to the ground before plays against uptempo offenses is not a new tactic, as fast-paced offenses have accused defenses of trying to gum up their systems for years. But if Agim was truly injured he should have gone down a bit sooner. If he wasn’t, well, we can’t feel too sorry for him.
