'Arizona Morning' anchor Renee Nelson is gone at Fox 10 in Phoenix. Here's what we know

Renee Nelson is no longer with Fox 10.

A spokesperson for the Phoenix station confirmed that Nelson has left the station. Her last day on the air was Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Nelson, who began at Fox 10 in September of 2018, anchored “Arizona Morning” from 4:30-7 a.m., and contributed feature stories for the rest of the morning show. She also co-anchored the noon show with Troy Hayden.

Before coming to Fox 10, Nelson worked in Bend, Oregon and San Diego.

Efforts to reach Nelson were unsuccessful.

An internal and external search is underway for Nelson’s replacement, the spokesperson said.
