Ariana Madix & Katie Maloney Have Made Major Progress on Their Sandwich Shop

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are sharing exciting updates on their sandwich shop, Something About Her.

"All of our branding is put together," Ariana told BravoTV.com at NBCUniversal's upfront presentation in May. "I can't for everyone to see everything, like, the way we want it to look." Although they have yet to reveal details about the eatery's menu, Ariana shared, "I'm really excited for a sandwich that involves lots of hot peppers and anything salty, pickled. That's my jam."

Ariana noted she "can't wait to find a location," and as Katie explained on an episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in May, they have one specific area in mind. After sharing Something About Her will be in "the [San Fernando] Valley," Katie added, "I do love it so much over here."

While on the podcast, Katie gave more details on the status of their new venture. "We've just been working with a consulting group who are amazing and brilliant," she said. "We spent a lot of time just kind of like really crystalizing the whole vision and just what the whole concept is."

The business will "be more than just sandwiches," she added. "We want it to have its own vibe, its own personality. A little bit of, like, retail...a wine [and] beer bar, but maybe cocktails as well, depending on the space and if it has the permit for it."

The Vanderpump Rules business partners haven't revealed an official opening date, but according to what appears to be the restaurant's official Instagram page, it's "coming [in] 2022."
