Back in 2017, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix was planning to write her own cocktail book. But her boyfriend at the time, Tom Sandoval, managed to convince her that he should be part of the project. So, they co-authored the book together.

After Sandoval cheated on Ariana for months with her friend Rachel Leviss, she spills some tequila about their relationship and Scandoval. And she is doing it in her book, Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches, which will be available on December 5.

Who’s Jamie? Sandoval used a code name for Rachel in his phone during Scandoval

According to PEOPLE, Ariana confirmed a rumor in her new book about Sandoval and his secret name for Rachel. She wrote that he was “so committed to this double life that he used ‘Jamie’ as a code name for her in his phone.”

Ariana shared that one of her key bonding moments with Sandoval happened in 2013 when her father died unexpectedly. He suffered a heart attack. And Sandoval was there for her as a friend and supported her.

But his choice of the name “Jamie” was offensive to Ariana. “The worst part is that my dad’s name was James, may he rest in peace. Imagine seeing a screenshot of a text in which he tells a friend how he ‘took Jamie to the mile high club,'” Ariana wrote. “For him to use my dad’s name for her was a level of disrespect I didn’t realize was possible.” Ick!

Then, Ariana told PEOPLE about why adding such “vulnerable” memories in her book was important. “The majority of my life is off camera, so that’s, I think, something that people will never see,” she said. The VPR star explained why including Sandoval’s diabolical deception was crucial. “We’re talking 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 30, 31 days a month of day in, day out, moment-to-moment, lies, deception and gaslighting and horrible treatment.”

Ariana added, “There’s so many things like that and there’s definitely not room in the cocktail book to write them all.” In her book, you can look under “Jamie” for her “A Dirty as Hell Martini” recipe. Inspired, of course, by her dirty-as-hell ex.

Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo for Season 11 in January 2024.
