Ariana Grande Trying to Settle Beef with Las Vegas Artist Over ‘God Is a Woman’

Ariana Grande is trying to settle the lawsuit accusing her of ripping off a Las Vegas painter by using his work in the music video for her hit song, “God is a Woman.”

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Grande and artist Vladimir Kush — and his company, Kush Fine Arts Las Vegas Inc. — are asking the court to push back the deadline for Grande to respond to the lawsuit.

The documents note that both sides want to wait until June to allow “the parties to discuss resolution of this matter.”

Earlier this year, Kush sued the singer claiming that in her “God is a Woman” music video, there is an image of a woman featured in a candle flame, that he says is identical to paintings he did in 1999 and 2000.

He sued seeking unspecified damages and for a court order to take down the video.
