The post also featured a sample of the catchy tune and hints that Grande is experimenting with a house-music-inspired beat before her soprano vocals chime in.

Grande also included a gallery of fan messages about the release on her Instagram Story, including messages such as "We've been blessed" along with the lyrics to the song, which features lines such as “Say that s--- with your chest, keep moving like ‘What’s next?’ ‘Yes, and?' ”

Recorded in New York City, the new single was written and produced by Grande alongside Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.

Grande released the official audio on her YouTube channel on Friday, and though she has now delighted fans with the release of the new music, they still have to wait for the accompanying visual video.

Another Instagram post on Thursday saw the singer tease the video for “Yes, And?” which will be available to stream from 7 a.m. PST/10 a.m. EST on Friday,

The tantalizing teaser sees someone holding a red card which says “ag7” with coordinates listed underneath it and “your presence has been exclusively requested” written on the back.

After seeing the card, another person quips, “real exclusive, typical Ari” while a third complains, “I think I liked her better when her ponytail was a few centimetres higher."
