Unlike some other celebrity divorces that have unfolded recently, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez seem to be keeping their divorce proceedings smooth and unproblematic. But the “7 Rings” singer does still have some demands in her split.
Grande, 30, and Gomez, 28, submitted almost simultaneous divorce filings on September 18 requesting to end their marriage after two years. Per the singer’s filing, which was obtained by Page Six, Grande requested that the former couple’s prenuptial agreement be honored — details of the agreement were not revealed.

Grande is requesting that miscellaneous jewelry, including earrings she purchased before and during the marriage and after the separation, be considered separate property and assets. In other words, she wants to keep her own purchases.
Grande requested that any shared assets that were community property during the marriage be divided in accordance with the prenup. She also requested that she and Gomez be responsible for their own attorneys’ fees.

According to E! News, Gomez did not request spousal support in his filing but asked for the court to reserve the issue for future determination. Both Grande and her real estate agent ex listed their official date of separation as February 20 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Sources previously reported that the exes were trying to keep things as amicable as possible and worked out most of the details of the divorce before going to the courthouse. “They came to the decision together,” a source told Page Six in July. “They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”
Grande’s breakup was first reported in July after she was spotted without her wedding ring. Soon, it was reported that Grande cheated on Gomez with Ethan Slater, her Wicked co-star who was married at the time of the alleged affair. Slater has since filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay.
Jay, who shares a 1-year-old son with Slater, spoke out to criticize Grande. “[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl,” Jay revealed to Page Six. “My family is just collateral damage.” Gomez, Grande and Slater have not commented publicly about their divorces or the alleged affair.
