Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez officially tied the knot in May 2021 and kept low profile ever since. While the songstress hasn't spoken publicly about their relationship, Dalton is also notoriously private about his personal life. In fact, eagle-eyed fans noticed in April 2023 that the real estate broker seemingly deleted his formerly private Instagram profile. Just three months later, Ariana and Dalton split.

Are Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez Still Together?

Since they kept things out of the public eye, it was difficult to keep up with where things between the couple stood. Ariana was quick to shut down split rumors, however, in August 2022 while recording a makeup tutorial.

"I'm just not wearing my ring, it's getting cleaned," the "Thank U Next" singer told her TikTok followers at the time. "I'm not getting a divorce, so before you start, don't."

Nearly one year later, though, Ari jetted across the pond to attend Wimbledon in July 2023. While the "Save Your Tears" artist was spotted sitting alongside stars such as Andrew Garfield, Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton, Dalton was noticeably absent as was Ariana's engagement ring.

The next day, it was reported that Ariana and Dalton split after nearly two years of marriage. Ariana started filming the live-action adaptation of Wicked in England in late 2022, which put a strain on her marriage with Dalton as the couple adjusted to long distance. They split in January 2023, then attempted to reconcile their love. However, they later separated for good, as fans noticed that Dalton deleted his private Instagram account in April 2023 and Ariana was spotted in public without her wedding ring that month.

On July 20, 2023, Ariana was reported to have been dating her Wicked costar Ethan Slater. Ethan is reportedly still legally married to Lilly Jay, his high school sweetheart. Neither Ariana nor Ethan has publicly addressed their newfound relationship.

“Ariana and Dalton really tried to make things work,” a source exclusively told Life & Style in July 2023. “Unfortunately, it just wasn’t meant to be. Ariana and Dalton found themselves drifting apart. They went to therapy, but in the end, they decided not to prolong the inevitable.”

Despite their split and imminent divorce proceedings, the insider assured that the estranged spouses aren’t holding any grudges against each other.

“Ariana doesn’t blame Dalton and vice versa,” the source continued. “They’d even like to remain friends. The end of a marriage is sad, but Ariana and Dalton are young, driven and successful. They’ll be OK.”
