Ariana Grande Doesn't Hold Back After Mac Miller Grammys Snub

Ariana Grande’s beef with the Grammys just got more serious.

The “thank u, next” hitmaker angrily tweeted ― then deleted ― choice words for the award show after it snubbed her late ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, in the Best Rap Album category. Miller, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, died from an accidental overdose of cocaine and fentanyl in September 2018.

“Fuck,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet, before writing “trash” and “Literal bullshit. Bullshit.”

She added that Miller slept in the studio for two months making his final album, “Swimming,” and that she was upset that the Academy invited Miller’s parents to be there.

When a fan pointed out that the Academy invited his parents but didn’t give him an award, Grande responded in agreement.

“This. this is what I meant. Karen [Miller’s mom] was gonna have a green suit made,” she wrote. The late rapper’s parents were at the award show.

Some confused Grande’s tweets with anger at Cardi B, who took home the top award, becoming the first solo woman to do so. The “No Tears Left To Cry” singer quickly cleared up the confusion saying her angry tweets had “nothing to do” with Cardi.

“Good for her. i promise. i’m sorry,” Grande tweeted before responding to a fan who called Cardi “trash.”

“She’s not at all and that’s not what i meant and u know that,” the singer wrote.

Grande, who took home her very first Grammy at the award show, ended the night by snuggling up with Miller’s dog after deleting some of her tweets.

“It’s me your tiny, highly emotional, italian, and now grammy award winning friend,” she wrote. “i’m super tarnished lol. but super grateful. thank u for everything. myron is in my arms n he says hi as well.”
