Ariana Grande's dream came true.
The "Imagine" singer, 26, shared a heartfelt Instagram post Wednesday about spending time with her idol, Jim Carrey, describing it as "the most special experience of my life."
"Nothing is crazier than getting to work with and spend time with someone whom you’ve idolized and adored since before you could speak," Grande wrote alongside a picture of herself and Carrey hugging on the set of his Showtime series "Kidding."
She continued: "Actually, what’s even crazier is discovering that person to be more special and warm and generous in person than you ever could’ve imagined."
Grande is set to make a "tiny appearance" on the second season of "Kidding," which she described as a "hilarious and deeply moving show." She added, "This was a DREAM of an experience."
Grande declared her everlasting love for the "Bruce Almighty" star long ago, revealing in April that her "first AIM username was jimcarreyfan42 when i was in like 4th grade."
The two also shared a special exchange after bonding over depression.
"@ArianaGrande I read your lovely mention of me and things I’ve said about depression," Carrey tweeted in April. "I admire your openness. I wish you freedom and peace. I feel blessed to have such a gifted admirer."
In response, Grande expressed gratitude to the comedian, tweeting, "thank u so much for your kindness. i don’t think u understand how much i adore u or what u mean to me. thank u for taking the time to share this w me. you are such an inspiration."
Grande added that she "can’t wait to tattoo this tweet to my forehead."
Although she didn't actually get that tweet inked, she did get a tattoo of an iconic quote from her favorite Carrey movie, "The Truman Show": "In case I don't see ya good afternoon good evening and good night!"
In typical Grande fashion, she got the quote inked upside down.
