Ariana Grande Calls Out Hackers After Unreleased Songs Leaked Online: 'I'll See You in Jail, Literally'

The pop star opened up about her song "Fantasize" leaking online and going viral on TikTok in an interview with Zach Sang

Ariana Grande thinks people leaking her music should save their tears.

In an interview on the Zach Sang Show, the "7 Rings" singer, 30, opened up about some of her music from studio sessions with Grammy-winning producer Max Martin getting leaked on TikTok, including her song "Fantasize."

"Before I left for Wicked, the few studio sessions I did, which are all — all — over TikTok, thank you so much," Grande told Zach Sang, before sending a message to the hackers: "I'll see you in jail, literally."

She explained that the songs were actually written for an unnamed TV show, not for her.

"So 'Fantasize' comes out — 'comes out' — crazy, was stolen. Comes out? Thieves, pirates, crooks, illegal. I'll pay you more to put it away, to get it back," said the "No Tears Left to Cry" musician with a laugh.

Grande explained that the original version was "a parody of a '90s girl group vibe."

"But [the fans] loved it, and I was like, 'a) all of you are absolute hypocrites, and b) that's crazy! It's so corny!' But it's okay. I took the note, and I kind of gave them Ariana's version of that on the album. I would say that exists," she said. "So, some of those seedling ideas from that time actually made their way onto the album, which is really exciting, but they're completely different now."

Grande then quipped that people had already heard them because hackers "stole them again."

"They're very different now — so that's exciting, too," she told the host, 30, of the new music.

When asked by Sang if she's heard fanmade songs using an artificial-intelligence-powered version of her own voice, the Wicked star remained unimpressed: "Yes, what are we doing? Why? I hate it."

In January, Grande announced her seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine will be released on March 8.

Her album news arrived just days after the two-time Grammy winner shared “Yes, And?,” the house music-inspired lead single from Eternal Sunshine penned and produced by Grande, Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh.

Grande also shared a Christian Breslauer-directed music video alongside her single, which features a group of jaded industry folks in an elevator, gossiping about the pop star. However, after entering “The Loft,” they are once again thrilled by Grande. She prompts statues to crumble and immediately captivates with a choreographed number.

Last month, the two-time Grammy winner shared the official remix of the "Yes, And?" featuring Mariah Carey.
