The pair previously teamed up in 2020 for a remix of Carey's 2010 song "Oh Santa" with Jennifer Hudson on the soundtrack of Apple TV+'s Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special.

The original version of "Yes, And?" was released last month as the lead single from Grande's forthcoming album Eternal Sunshine, out March 8. The track, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, finds the star shrugging off haters and embracing self-confidence over a slick disco-and-house-inspired beat.

Grande recently told fans she won't be releasing any more singles ahead of the full album, though she assured listeners "a little surprise or two" would be coming — and Carey's remix of "Yes, And?" appears to be one of them.

“thank you for your trust in my vision and plan!” she continued. “you have waited so long for new music from me and i am so grateful for your patience! I look forward to savoring every single of this new era with you all and i sincerely cannot wait for it to be yours!”
